PLAYER BIO Brendan Morrison was selected 39th overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. After finishing up a four year college career with the University of Michigan, he turned pro with the New Jersey Devils in 1997-98. Over the course of the next 17 years, Morrison played 934 NHL games with the Devils, Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, Washington Capitals, Calgary Flames and Chicago Blackhawks. He recorded 200 goals and 401 assists for a total of 601 points. Morrison joined the Flames in 2010 and played 94 games with the team over two seasons. In international competition, Morrison has represented Canada in three World Championships, winning gold in 2004 and silver in 2005.
