PLAYER BIO Rhett Warrener played over 700 games in the National Hockey League for the Florida Panthers, Buffalo Sabres and Calgary Flames between 1995 and 2008. While playing for the Flames he appeared in his 500th NHL game on November 22, 2003, against the Chicago Blackhawks. He was considered one of Calgary’s best defenders. Warrener is a three-time Stanley Cup finalist; for the Florida Panthers in 1996, the Buffalo Sabres in 1999 and with the Calgary Flames for their 2004 playoff run. He was a member of the Canadian national junior team that won a gold medal at the 1996 World Junior Championship. He is heavily involved in the community, supporting charities such as KidSport and the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
