PERSONAL BIO Hockey has had a tremendous impact on my life in that it has taught me the values of teamwork, dealing with winning & losing, allowed me to go to University and earn a degree and brought me to Calgary. Winning the Stanley Cup in 1989 ranks right up there with one of my favorite memories as a Flame and also playing in my first game in the NHL as a Calgary Flame in the old Chicago Stadium against the Blackhawks. I live with my wife Sherrie in Calgary, and I have three kids, Stephanie, Derek and Michelle. After I retired, I started a small rental company called 3 Star Matting Ltd. I am also heavily involved in the Calgary Flames alumni community. A few of my hobbies include roasting coffee beans, reading, listening to music and watching & playing hockey. I also love cooking chicken wings and I am a big Buffalo Bills fan.
