The Calgary Flames Alumni are pleased to announce their 5th Annual Summer Hockey School this coming August. We have an exciting new venue for the Hockey School this August with both weeks being held at Winsport, a world class facility located at Canada Olympic Park. It is always exciting for the Alumni to get on the ice and meet all the young aspiring hockey players in our city. The goal is always to have lots of fun on the ice and help all the young athletes with their skills.

The on-ice hockey camp, featuring over six hours of on-ice instruction, is designed for you to improve the following:

  • Shooting and power skating techniques
  • Acceleration, pivoting forwards and backwards
  • Puck handling/skills, dekeing, and more.

A camp jersey, Alumni autograph card, OPA! Gift Certificate, and post practice one-on-one autograph session with the pros is also included.

What are the dates and times of the Flames Alumni Hockey School?

What time should we arrive at the rink?

Each participant should arrive 25 mins prior to each ice start time. Please arrive 10 mins earlier for your first day of camp to allow time to check in, get your jersey and swag bag.

Do I have to fill out a waiver to participate?

Each skater will need to fill out a waiver. You will receive this via email communication from the hockey school along with all other important parent information.
